<p>How to get through your reading list super fast with Book Summaries</p>
<p>If you are in business then chances are you read a lot. To be successful in life &amp; in business you should always try to continue learning &amp; educating yourself. It&#8217;s all about the continuing improvement.</p>
<p>The problem is there are many good books out there &amp; if you are anything like me then you have a huge reading list to get through &amp; not enough hours in the day to get around to reading them all.</p>
<p>The way I get through my reading list faster is to use book summaries. The sites in this video are for personal development &amp; business books rather than fiction books. I&#8217;m sure there are fiction book summary sites out there but I have not used them personally.</p>
<p>Book summary sites are services where they read the book &amp; then summarize the key points for you in just a few short pages in an ebook, a short video presentation or in a short audio book that you can consume in just twenty minutes or less. This way you can benefit from the key message &amp; biggest takeaways from the book but really quickly. This means you can do the same thing for a lot of different books, knocking many off of your reading list</p>
<p>Of course this doesn&#8217;t replace reading altogether, I still like to read books thoroughly but that is something I do in spare time. If I need the information fast then I use book summaries.</p>

<p>The first 3 are all pretty similar they do ebook &amp; audiobook summaries, so be sure to have a look through their current collection to see if they have the books that you wish to read included.</p>
<p>Readitfor.me delivers their message via a 15 minute video with a new one delivered each week.</p>
<p>All these book summary sites just get better because they regularly update &amp; add more of the bestselling business &amp; self improvement books to their collection.</p>

<p>Millions of blogs exist on the worldwide web today, but what differentiates the so called “authority” blogs from the others?</p>
<p>Individual bloggers, small business owners, and large corporations alike have realized the importance of leveraging content marketing to build a successful and authoritative brand online. The internet has leveled the playing field as far as authorities are concerned, and today anyone—from huge media outlets to small mom and pop businesses can gain professional notoriety through content marketing. How do I know this? As a long-time blogger, I have worked with clients to help them realize exactly how content marketing can establish them as trusted authorities online.</p>
<p><strong>Four tips for becoming a trusted authority with Content Marketing </strong></p>
<p>1. Consistency, consistency, consistency…</p>
<p>Blogging isn’t all just fun and games—it takes some serious hard work to <a href="../internet-marketing/how-to-become-the-go-to-expert-in-your-niche-an-interview-with-rachel-henke/">research your niche market</a>, find out what topics will engage and interest your audience, developing a voice and personality that your audience can relate to and trust, and create content and post it consistently to your expectant readership. The consistency of your posts is vital if you want to gain trust from your readership. If you say you will post daily or weekly, you better do so, or you will appear dishonest or disinterested in your audience.</p>
<p>2. Create an engaging personality</p>
<p>The key to <a href="http://www.nikkipilkington.com/the-importance-of-credibility-in-the-blogging-community/">gaining trust from your online audience</a> (and potential customers) is to develop a voice and personality through your writing that your audience can relate to and want to engage with. This comes from ditching the marketing speak. Write to your audience how you would talk to a business colleague or even a trusted friend. Show them your personal side, and prove that you are indeed a real human being by sharing some personal experiences that your audience can learn from.</p>

<p>Your blog is way more than a cool design and a snappy tag line. Your audience cares little about the aesthetic details compared to the sincerity of your posts compared to how they feel about the relevancy and information gained from your posts. <p>This is my list of favourite places to go to find guest bloggers or have people who are seeking guest bloggers find me.</p>
<p>Guest blogging has two main benefits for you&#8230;</p>
<p>The first is Receiving guest blogs. This is a great way to publish high quality, relevant blog posts on a regular basis. This will save you the time &amp; effort required to consistently produce good content on your blog. This keeps your audience engaged &amp; provides more pages for the search engines to index &amp; rank.</p>
<p>The second benefit is by being a guest poster on other peoples blogs, you can increase your own blogs or website search engine rankings. This is because as a special guest contributor who has put time, effort &amp; expertise into writing the guest post, it is only fair that there is something in it for you. This comes in the form of backlinks. Not just any old backlink but a high quality backlink from an authority site. You can include your links within the article text itself as anchor text or you can include it in the authors resource box at the end of the article. I recommend doing both where possible. The authors resource box will also give you the credit for the post, so make sure what you write is high quality so that the readers feel compelled to check out your own site too.</p>
